Isn’t the whole “Shut the F…” a way of saying “shut the fuck up” but without swearing?

I too, am in line for a yellow padded jacket, but mine will be from H&M rather than Uniqlo. My other half has no idea what to get me for Christmas, so I’m getting a coat:

I got a similar red one almost ten years ago, and it’s time to replace it.

Anyway, it’s a bit gloomy out, eh? It’s a quiet day in the office - Fridays are always quiet, but it was the office Christmas party (which I never go to) so a lot of people have taken the day off.

Morning all!

I’ve organised myself really badly this morning and forgot to take The Child’s bag to nursery, and now I’m going to be late meeting my brother. I haven’t had breakfast yet and the train I was going to get has been cancelled.

Early draft of Friends’ theme was not as in tune with the zeitgeist of that era etc.

Currently listening to the new Liturgy album at the station though, so it’s not all badness.

Going to see BEAK> tonight.

My wife was always checked for this for about 10 years running. I assume they had a quota of one white, blonde woman so they could go all in on minorities.

Good morning Chums!

We’re off on a day trip to Bath today to further celebrate @Avery’s ongoing existence and in the fashion that is typical of us, we haven’t planned a single thing except the train journey (10:40 from RW) so we’ll probably end up wandering aimlessly around all day, stumbling into pubs as we go. If anyone has any good pub/food/things to do in Bath please do tell.
I was taken to Bath for my Gnome Do and we had a grand old time on the river. Are there any boat things for bad weather? Might do a Google.

Ever the optimist, I set my alarm for 8:40 planning to get up and do a cycle lol. Rolled over and snoozed until 9:30 didn’t I. With a purring Winnie on my pillow :heart:
