Sitting in the back of a car when you're about 14 on a Friday late afternoon and it's overcast and raining

That’s amore

I’ll be sittin’ when the evenin’ comes

Am I going anywhere or am I looking at the driveway

On a dual carriageway with vast fields either side

The car’s on fire and there’s no driver at the wheel

Better than sitting in your parents front room on a Sunday in the drizzle with some non-event TV on too quietly when you’re about 9, but only just

Yeah mine was supposed to be a very good memory, not knowing what your Friday has in store

Heartbeat. Wanted my heart to stop beating when I heard the theme tune.

Here in my car I feel safest of all…

Oh yeah, fair go! I used to love watching raindrops in the back of my dad’s car, I was just a sullen turd of a teenager and I’m having a bleak day.

It was no Where The Heart Is

I quite liked that for some reason

a move from the pub to the club for some awesome sounds

And the feeling of dread hearing that theme tune remembering you hadn’t done your maths homework for your 9am class in the morning.

It’s Sunday afternoon and it’s been raining all weekend but apparently watching sport on TV all day isn’t an option so we’re on our way for a walk up and down a disused railway line.
