I think one of my first experiences with Snecko Eye was with Runic Pyramid. Man, that was a bad way to lose a run. I will not make that mistake again.

It’s Confirmation Bias: The Card, innit. Easier to remember the times it made all your defence cards cost 3 while forgetting that maybe your run would have ended several encounters ago if you hadn’t been drawing TWO EXTRA CARDS A TURN!!! and occasionally getting 8 energy in value out of 3 energy.

(if you’ve got a lot of 0 cost cards then it’s pretty, pretty shit though tbf)

I honestly have no good times with it to remember. It always, always goes, “all your synergy cards cost 3 now. Hope you had a plan B!”

I never have a plan B.

Least favourite character for me is currently Watcher because I haven’t a fucking clue what I’m doing with her yet.

Second least favourite is Silent. Used to be my favourite but I played it too much and get really bored by poison builds now. And any time I try to do something that isn’t a poison build I can’t shake the feeling that it would be better as a poison build.

Second favourite is Defect, but I need to branch out into more different deck types before I feel like I really get it.

Favourite is Ironclad. Used to be my least favourite but now I really like the versatility. It can go boring efficiency decks, stupid combo decks, niche synergy decks, hyper focused “one trick pony” decks… love it.

Watcher is great, great fun once you get the hang of her. My favourite character of the lot. The buzz of getting a well-timed Divinity off is better than anything else.

If you like one trick pony decks, get a Pressure Point deck going with her: as small as you can with two Pressure Points. Use Calm to get draws and block.

If I could remove a single enemy from the game it would be Snecko. Turn this carefully balanced card game into a dice roll aye. Fucking cunt.

I love using Judgement. Specifically the JUDGED bit.

I just did the pressure points thing. I think I had 4 upgraded in a 15 card deck - so OP. Think it might be a goer for the no rares/uncommons achievement as it just needs that card and not much else.

I’ve been trying to do the Who Needs Relics? challenge after seeing your post, but not getting past the second boss yet. It doesn’t help that I sometimes I collect a relic (or even buy a relic!) and then only realise I’ve done that a couple of battles later!

I’ve done that so many times! I play the game on semi-autopilot now and my subconscious loves picking up those relics.

179 hours in this now but I think honestly I’m done/ a bit bored of it now. Obviously can’t complain but there is diminishing returns in seeing the same cards and bosses over and over after a while

Just had my first attempt at this, I got to the final boss. Not quite enough sync between my relics and my cards - the perils of aiming for a specific deck. It is definitely within reach though.

I really struggle with the concept of not massively bloating out my deck by taking a card every time one is on offer.

Need to be more disciplined with not picking something up just as it might be valuable against one enemy and ending up with 40+ card decks

Yeah that took me a while to learn, still learning how to do a good lean deck but when you get something sort of automatised and overpowered it feels really good.
