Ah man. Truly some of the greatest music from an incredible talent - who really went through the wringer.
There’s a Riot Goin On is really one of the outstanding works of art of the 70s. It’s got everything, but the sound - I thought it sounded terrible until it clicked and then I heard all of the wear of the tape and the layering and the obsession - absolutely unique and incredible.
