I know it’s a Thursday but my intention was to keep it clean.
I’ve been marking any emails from anyone I don’t recognise as spam and blocking the sender. It’s quite therapeutic

Peanut butter.
Half an hour of Call of Duty multiplayer after work pretending the opposition are real life people from work
bacon and egg flatbread wraps
Quick wank in my lunch half hour
Got really into cheeses, like having a lil blue cheese on chutney on a tasty cracker as a mid-afternoon snack
Similarly, got some smoothies you just blend up yourself, also good and kinda premium feeling, you know? I’ve got one that’s blue even!
Making little ceremonies. So if i make myself a hot drink i like to also burn some incense when its done so it feels like a little special event just for me.
And obviously, buying daffodils. Although the joy police have put them up to £1.20 in some shops this year
but my intention was to keep it clean.

I’ve been bringing myself joy with this a little too much lately so I’m having to take a break
Just the best snack
scat the star wars cantina music while getting increasingly unhinged so it ends up RRRUUUB DAB DOOO DE DABEE DOO SCUBBILLEEE WOOBABA DUUUUGH!H
My morning work ritual - make a nice black coffee, light some incense, pop a record on - brings me a lot of joy for the first 10 minutes of my work day. After which the whole workiness of the situation dawns on me and the spell is broken
Afternoon espresso using my silly portable espresso machine. Sometimes to make myself even more joy I’ll take it outside to somewhere like the beach and make one there.

I do it into a sock so there’s no mess
no joy or no clean joy?

One that I miss - I used to catch the overground to work from Seven Sisters and the sun would beam across the platform and I’d stand on one of the plinths for the overhead cables facing the sun with my eyes shut while I waited for my train. so lovely
