Yeah this puts me off a bit. Reminds of my splatoon experience. Play a bit, keep winning. Play basically exactly the same way, if not slightly better, keep losing. Never felt like I knew how well or otherwise I was doing at any point. Is it similarly baffling?

Stages and the randomisation of items play a big part. Playing story and classic modes are great training tho. Plus for online you can stipulate ur preferred rules and there’ll be loads with tournament rules if u wanted (no items). Win or lose its great fun!

That’s the thing about the DLC that gets me. 2.49 per drop - I’d be in with bells on. More or less a fiver per character/stage seems a bit much for what you’re getting though.

You say that but a new character can add so many hours potebtially to a games lifespan. I dont mind do much with smash doing character dlc on a premiun game because it shilled with so much content

Ah, I’m bound to buy them eventually, but not blind. Same as with Mario Vs Rabbids… Good value in retorpect, but there’s too much poor DLC to justify it without knowing what’s on offer.

Seems to have divided opinion.
I’ve not played persona 5, is he cool, make a good fighter?
He"ll get his own amiibo too of course.
Love that the dlc card in Japan looks like the invite Joker receives.
Think the dlc is more reasonable this time than it was on wiuu plus there’s actually a decent online this time around to play people regularly. It’d be amazing if the dlc characters got their own unique Classic mode bosses too.
