One of life’s greatest pleasures. Playing as Bowser and having two stock and your opponent has one stock, then suiciding off an edge with side-b

You can fast forward through the credits game using the + button.

I’m experimenting with a change of controls (jumps off on the joystick, b for jump, y and X for specials)

I’m still shit though

I’m finding Captain Falcon is a bit of a suicide machine

Oh I know it’s just disappointing because I used to play the Melee one all the way through

The credits game and the hold Start/+ to skip is another Smash staple.

so it’s not a huge issue for me, nice to have a little break anyway

@harru
Had one of my biggest  moments when unlocking the Wii Fit trainer.
Was struggling to win and the trainer blurts out “Now straighten your back and tuck in your BUM!”

Actually like the platform level and the arcade shooter.
Would love them to make a few different levels as part of the DLC pack. Maybe a few enemies on the platform stages like they did with Brawl.

Anyone down for some arena fighting?

Yes!

Wait… how the fuck is this 2hrs old

Hit a bit of a wall in adventure mode. I’ve beaten most of the novices and advanced in the bottom third of the map, but really struggle against the aces and masters (no idea which one is supposed to be harder because surprise!.. it doesn’t tell you anywhere). This means i can’t unlock any more fighters and i’m a bit deflated tbh.

No sure i can be bothered to spend 1.5 hours each time fighting losing battles against infuriating bosses I can’t beat. there’s a reason i don’t like Dark Souls…

any tips?

Have you tried playing around with your spirits? Some of the tougher fights have environmental hazards that can be countered with the right spirit, and the higher your team’s level compared to theirs the easier the fight becomes.

I’ve just been going into my party and pressing y to autofill the primary and the secondary spirits so not put too much thought into it, but that seems to have done the job so far.

yeah I do that, apart from the obvious ones it makes very little difference as far as I can tell (to my results anyway). I just need to get better but that’s hard when there’s such a steep jump between the advanced and the next level up.

This video is great but I feel a bit like I have a mountain to climb. I think I need to pick a set of moves and restrict myself to mastering those for a while.
