Aye thats the one. Yes Id done one false ending before the true ending and had to complete the other false ending to get the award thing on the mural.

On a more prosaic level…

Have an ATD coming over to play some smash tonight and I’m wanting to unlock as many characters as possible before then so we’ve got a variety to play with.

Seem to have hit a brick wall though and I keep losing the challenger battles.

Any advice for a noob? I know, I know, get good… I’ve completed every soulsborne game but I’ll be dammed if I can defeat CPU sonic…

Theres also a way to unlock all characters within 2 hours according to the internet.

Arrgh I have no idea.

Just had my challenger on 200%and I was 100%kept hitting him and he just kept jumping back on to the platform. Then he hit me… GAME!

WHY? WHY? I did twice as much damage, why did I lose???

Need to hit him with a strong enough attack to ‘launch’ them at that point.

Smash attacks (right control stick) or strong specials rather than A button attacks usually.

You can also simultaneously press a direction and A at the same time to perform smash moves instead of the right stick if you should so desire (I prefer it). Also you can charge them so they’re more powerful.

Oh, and also, as a reminder if you’ve lost a bunch of challenger battles, you can re-challenge a bunch of them by clicking on the bottom right of this menu (sorry if you already know this)

I unlocked wario on classic mode on Christmas morning it was almost spiritual :blush:

Have given up on this about 4 hours in having gotten ridiculously OP from my spirit team. The difficulty of the fights doesn’t scale up well enough with the quality of spirits you get.

Finally unlocked Bayonetta, her smashes are so satisfying.

That’s really interesting 'cause I consistently found it challenging, in particular the 3 and 4 star fights (until you level the spirit teams up enough that you get a good shot at it).

Maybe I’m just not that good at the game :laughing:

I posted above about my difficulties with the 3* fights early in the game, generally now though I get thru them on the first few tries at most.

Still scared of 4* and higher and run around them if I can :grin:

The master fights with people guarding the dojos seem ridiculously easy though, don’t think Ive lost one of those yet
