Snow has started pelting down a bit down. Not much during the day. It’s that pishy wee snow and not the big luxurious flakes that are magical. Forecast for tonight and tomorrow looks a bit grim so hoping to maybe get a wee early finish or even a whole day off… Doubt it though.

I got two buses home as I didn’t drive because of the expected snow, the roads were empty and it didn’t take much longer than usual.

Got a got a bit of snow on our road but not as much as predicted.

Might bus it more often.

I was going to ask where you normally place. I only go to one pub quiz which my mate’s dad runs and it’s dead hard, usually get about 3rd from last if we’re lucky

Today at work was shit. Snow day for half the staff means the other half of the staff being put in random departments that are short staffed and having to fumble their way through any customer interactions (especially fumbly if they do not work on the shop floor). My feet are killing me and my head hurts. Don’t miss shop floor life at all.

There is one we used to go to that was quite easy and we’d often come second or third and win a bit of a bar tab. Pub has since closed though, we’d been meaning to track the quizmaster somewhere else! :sweat_smile:

Evening all!

Hard day at the old workplace but I got a load of hopeless students through some assessments which makes me feel positive about the assessments I need them to start next week.

Meagre snow representation here - I’m past secretly hoping for a snow day tomorrow. My students won’t come in though so it’s effectively the same thing.

Had chicken fajitas for tea. They were good.
