You’re a fucking promoter, your job is to be boring and make sure stuff is where it’s meant to be and that people are paid. And as a reward you get into the dressing room after the gig where the band will ignore/tolerate you, that’s it.

The Drive Like Jehu one was the perfect festival for me, but I never even considered it because I was so sure it wouldn’t happen. A few years on though, coming out of this pandemic, yeah, I’d be willing to gamble for the chance of an ATP weekend right now.
