Get Lucky Or Die Tryin

I didn’t much care for the last album and the less said about the one before the better, but Discovery was a life-changer. It’s dreadfully naff and terribly weedy to say ‘life-changer’ of course it is, but that is the fact of the matter.

The one and only time I ever saw him live, there was loads of stuff played that wasn’t in the album, so I’d love that.

Mixed feelings on the split. Their productivity was so low, it hardly seems to make a difference. But Discovery is in my top ten albums of all time, and I never got to see them live, so still a shame.

Yeah, 8 years after RAM and a decade after their last tour I can’t say I was exepcting a new release or tour ever happening. But I never saw them live and would have loved to so if that door is now closed I’m sad about that.

RAM isn’t even the best album called Ram, that’s by Paul McCartney

Wee bonus there for people who wanted a Tron style Easter egg

Saw them live supporting the Dust (Chemical) Brothers at the Astoria waaaaay back yonder and then the pyramid show in Hyde Park 2007. Took a few pics from the event and this one kind of sums it up, ish. BIt of an addled day and night. I only have The New Wave, Da Funk and Homeowrk records in my collection and that’ll do for me, though I do have a soft spot for the Human After All album.1923670_10502868277_6309_n
