Chill out, Mr. Miyagi.

I’m sure it’s a nice city, seemed quite clean and open from the times I’ve been there briefly but the whole thing like “yeah this is where proper music comes from!” isn’t working for me

Ok let’s pick the best of the uk and Ireland cities- 2 votes

  • Glasgow
  • Edinburgh
  • Manchester
  • London
  • Birmingham
  • Dublin

birmingham seems real friendly

Wales/N.Ireland will not be best pleased

Glasgow is the only one on this list I’ve never been to. I’d quite like to remedy that fact one day.

I’ve used the cities that featured in the Time Out list

I’m probably biased but the city centre is an awful place lacking in so many ways.

  • Glasgow - never visited
  • Edinburgh - it’s okay, bit touristy
  • Manchester - wasn’t there long enough but just felt like I could have been anywhere (though I’m sure I just missed the good bits).
  • London - big fan of it, though I wouldn’t want to live there
  • Birmingham - thought it was okay, had a bit of character to it
  • Dublin - bit expensive and grubby and dull
