So I went on a date last night

#1

The lass hadn’t seen Sound Of Music. Thought that was odd.

#2

I’ve not seen it either*

*pretty sure it wasn’t me on your date either

#3

“THE HILLS ARE DEAD WITH THE SILENCE OF MY DISINTEREST. I BID YOU ADIEU, FAIR LADY”

^ bad date etiquette, that

#4

Don’t think I’ve ever sat and watched it all the way through

#5

I don’t get it

#6

Never seen it :woman_shrugging:

#7

It’s like all these films Star Wars etc, you don’t have to have seen to have basically seen it, everyone knows what they are about

#8

Also in the never seen category

#9

I told you that in confidence…

#10

I’ve been on more dates than I’ve seen Sound of Music. I have been on one date.

#11

I’ve been on the same number of dates as number of times I’ve seen the sound of music. If I ever go on a date it will be to watch the sound of music to maintain the ratio

#12
  • Seen
  • Not Seen
  • Watched it for a few minutes when it was on TV and found it amusing but then got bored and turned it off and have never seen it all the way through

#13

you should star in a mumblecore film

#14

I’ll probably ruin my chances of the second date (going by averages, I’ll be 52) by insisting we see Sound of Music twice to get the balance just right

#15

I tried to get into mumblecore, then I accepted I was just pretending to like it

#16

Might try and make a mumblecore remake of Sound of Music called ‘The Sound of Music Playing On The Eight Track In My Dad’s Old Sierra’

#17

Got a second date onnthe cards?

#18

Just can’t imagine not having seen it around Christmas time

#19

Nah wasn’t feeling it

#20

Sorry to hear that
