No, this was up North. Must just be a common accident with school kids at ice-rinks

I did some temp work there after I graduated, where my job was to mind the reception of a building that had no visitors, and occasional deliveries. They’d taken away the internet on the reception computer because the guy before me got caught looking at porn at work. So I read a lot of books and played solitaire.

I ploughed my way through this over-hyped doorstop of a novel while I was there. It was soooo bad, but I kept reading it because I didn’t have much better to do.

It predates this forum, so maybe 4-5 years ago?

This is impressive stuff, I have to say

You can’t because marckee’s post on the old forum predates that.

Well, I… Well

My friend was in Victoria Park today! She said it was rammed.

Was she on roller skates? (It was packed, yeah. Felt very weird tbh)

Some real friendly ducks in the lakes out there. 3 in particular would always swim up as I walked past, seemed like they werw trying to make friends, but they might have been taking umbrage with me for using their park, while not actually working in Green Park.

Some swans on the lake took umbrage to a white furry collar on one of my coats. I promise it isn’t made of swan.

Whether or not it was made of swan probably didn’t matter to them, merely impersonating a swan is hugely frowned upon with that lot. You might have been in more danger than you could ever have imagined.

Oh yeah, people seemed to be doing that sort of thing actually.

I imagine the penalty for unlicenced swanning about would be being pecked to death by a swan firing/pecking squad

An undeniably horrible fate, but just imagine, chronological impossibility notwithstanding, telling your grandchildren that you died from a fatal pecking, as punishment for merely resembling a swan, and the vengeance those grandchildren would seek. Not sure I’m willing to go anywhere near Green Park until this situation has calmed down.

A dude rollerblades at the museum quite often, and he looks like he’s having the time of his life and I respect that

How do you feel about this, Tone?

I’m into it
