So, say you lived under the sea

or in the sea, whatever the term is. Like spongebob or a merperson. And you’re in your underwater kitchen, making a tuna sandwich.
Would you still have to drain the brine out of the tin?

The sea is ‘nature’s brine’ I always say. Always. So there would be no point.

Is there an in-sea can production facility? Or are we having to import tuna from our landlubber cousins

You do always say that!
Yeah, that’s the thing. But I’m just not sure.

That’s a good question.
I think in this scenario, there is an underwater canning factory.

What about hot dogs? Same question applies.

Oh jeez, I didn’t even THINK about hot dogs. Or mixed beans!

Tuna is tinned in air underwaTer. Kind of like the opposite of vacuum packed. There are huge protests at the factories by actual tuna, who, being no shrinking violets, are prone to attack and eat the smaller fish bussed in by the bosses to work in the air packing factories.

The big risk in this scenario is the tuna simply floating away from the can. Brine or no brine.

You’d have to shut all your underwater windows and doors

Can’t get past the bit where I’ve got soggy bread

It’s waterproof bread, like… a sourdough type thing.

I imagine he’d have laminated literally everything in his underwater abode.

How has he plugged in the laminator?

Surely you wouldn’t have a sandwich, you’d have a sub.
