I thought Cabaye was fantastic yesterday.

We basically gifted Man City there two goals, like we normally do.

While Benteke didn’t have a great game at least he could have kept the ball uo the other end and we could have held out until the end. We didn’t deserve to lose but we screwed ourselves over, again.

He’s been excellent for Boro this season. Was really good against City. Lost that explosiveness he had but worked his bollocks off. Picked up an injury when at City and never looked the same player. Rumours were that he’d encountered some personal problems when over here, though, which would make a bit more sense. Hard to believe Valencia gave us £23m for him really, but they’ve been terribly mismanaged since their own takeover.
