Just left Brentford ground, some of Eastleigh’s pre-pubescent lot are being a bit of a handful. Retired back to the local pub. (The griffin, its ace!)

HOW THE EFF ARE WIGAN 2-0 UP?!!!?!!!

My 2 #cupset predictions of Millwall and Sutton have done pretty well

2-2

Lincoln, not Sutton

Xhaka is a total lemon, isn’t he? Shame, with a name like that.

nope

Gets away with being really quite filthy because Arsenal, seems to be a conscious decision instead of running though, which I respect.

Irritated that an absolute nobody like Maitland-Niles gets a start and Holding doesn’t. Wenger always plays centre-backs according to seniority, which means the young promising players we have there just stagnate. Meanwhile, ‘terrible’ doesn’t begin to encompass the nuance of Gabriel’s performance.

Also, Giroud’s one-dimensional, Ramsey’s annoying as fuck to watch when he’s not on form and Oxlade Chamberlain doesn’t understand football. I do not like this XI.

In case you missed it in the Friday thread. Post match, should probably read Never mind the Boaz.

Rode our luck, defended for our lives.
Cracking day out

Because they’re playing Forest :joy:

The most inevitable end imaginable

Has any player pulled his team out of the fire more regularly and been given more stick from his own fans than Giroud?

Obviously that’s gonna be a popular opinion on here, but the truth is he’s been unspeakably bad for the last three or four games (that’s as far back as I can remember, maybe he was just as bad before then). Then he scores a goal at the end of each of them. That’s the pay-off with having Giroud up top, but if we had Sanchez there we’d have already scored at least another goal by that time. I’d even rather have Lucas there tbh, the problem being that we didn’t buy a wide player in the summer and are otherwise relying on Oxlade Chamberlain to be an actual footballer on a consistent basis.

That said he’s basically the ideal plan B, to come off the bench, for almost any team in the world. If he was 27-ish and played for a mid-table team in Spain or France he’d go for £40m at least to Chelsea or Utd or whatever.

I agree with bugduv though and say hes there to score goals which he does. Reminds me of RVN

Chuffed for Miwwoll given their current ground predicament, and obviously stuffing Bornemouth given the hundreds of millions they’ve spent’s just lovely.

What is up with their ground?

Haven’t the council repossessed it or something?

The local council have issued CPO’s for the land around the ground with the intention of selling to an offshore company for housing redevelopment. Looks pretty shady.
