I’m thinking Ranieri will be sacked/resign with a handful of games to go and they’ll narrowly avoid the drop.
Relegation isn’t as frightening as it may seem, provided you’re not financially fucked. But Leicester’s owners were spending lots of money under Nigel Pearson to get them back into the premier league, paying some of the highest wages/transfer fees. They’ve backed Ranieri now, but surely when they slide into the relegation zone and those owners see the amount of income they will lose, they’ll get rid of him?
A loss against Swansea would have to ring the alarm bells. Especially as the games afterwards include Liverpool, Arsenal and another must win at home to Hull.
Would be amazing/bonkers if they did get relegated though, no doubt about that.
