got a little carpet shop anecdote. it’s OK at best

2nd day there a fellow worker asked me if I was happy to sell the carpets on the side. the big boss left at 5 or something, so we had an hour to sell a few lengths and pocket the money.

being a relatively dishonest guy, I agreed. my job was to cut the carpet, roll it up and put it in the van. I did this 3 times in one day and made £60.

left on day 3 though. I enjoy standing on carpets, but that’s it
