Quite unusual for a local authority to get involved in this way I guess, but given their role in promoting culture generally, it probably makes sense. What do you think?
I think it makes a difference from them slapping noise complaints on venues that were there first.
I’m glad for Cardiff that they have enough local support to fight for their venue. I reckon they could strip every live music licence in my town and no one would care.
It’s been a very successful campaign in fairness. The Government here has also agreed to change planning rules more generally as a result:
