Apparently this was the first song they ever broadcast, which is definitely one of those forever linked in my mind to listening to commercial radio as a child that I’ve never heard since that time
They only had about five songs on constant rotation iirc.

For some reason I can’t now fathom when I was a kid I didn’t really understand music buying, it didn’t seem like a world available to me, the only way to hear my then favorite song in the world was to tune in to Atlantic 252’s top 7 at 7 where for a period of time in 1994 they were sure to play this
This seems a very good song for such a terrible station.
