A slight tangent, but I ran an indie night in Kingston for around 15 years. One night in the mid-late 00s, to avoid boredom, we tried to do an entire set of songs that introduced each other lyrically. A few from memory: Great DJ (ending on “the drums” repeated) followed by The Drums. Let’s Dance to Joy Division followed by the obvious. Out of Space (ending on “I’ll take your brain to another dimension” repeated) followed by Wolfmother’s Dimension…

We only lasted a few hours, before defaulting to autopilot, as it was pretty disjointed and the quality control was very low.
