And for one that’s about space and also kind of sounds like it, “Watching the Planets” by The Flaming Lips.

And even though it’s preceded by “Indoor Swimming at the Space Station”, “Seeing You Off the Edges” by Eluvium is the most space sounding song I can think of right now.

Seti - Pharos is really great… Kind of spooky and chilled out. Something Taylor Deupree was involved with back in the 90’s

"SETI, of course, is also the official name for the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence , a global project that scans the stars for extraterrestrial transmissions. Thus inspired, Deupree and Ysatis created something that is truly music of the stars. The albums were made not only with the leading-edge music technology of the time, but also drew inspiration and sampled sounds from astronomy lectures and deep space transmissions received by Earth’s radio telescopes.

For experimental techno, the music is often quite melodic, segueing between sparse, haunting tunefulness and abstract strangeness. It’s often bleepy but rarely grating, and unsurprisingly full of space and an alien-like presence."

More Spiritualized here, recorded for some space themed compilation that Jason has admitted he only got involved with because he was skint.
Whatever his inspiration, this is actually one his\their greatest tracks to my ears.
