Hard to see past Harry Kane from here tbh
Come on people, respect the poll and only select people who do an actual sport and have won something
Froome and Joshua the only reasonable candidates in there. Would’ve liked to have seen George Groves nominated
Would vote for Froome purely because he must be the most under appreciated sportsman of our time - his achievements could do with a bit more recognition.
Actual sport…Chris Froome
Smashed home! He couldn’t miss from there!
Is Jonathan Rea the equivalent of the Jazz nomination at the mercury? does he even exist
He’s colossally boring and there’s only two, arguably, three competitive riders in that championship. The other good rider (Davies) fell off a lot this year, which made it even more boring. Not for me Clive.
Is he any relation to Chris? Also if the people choose to give the award to a motor assisted bike rider surely Froomey will beat him!
@Aggpass probably will be Froome, and he’ll deserve it under then SPOTY parameters. They gave it to Wiggins for a Tour and a gold in 2012. Think an unprecedented GT double is worthy of SPOTY.
Doesn’t take away from the fact that he’s a doping prick though. But then so is Farah, and probably Peaty
I agree, Chris Froome has got a great personality
Sadly not. Froome would be a better choice, anyway.
Hot take incoming
None of them have any personality though. All boring as fuck
AJ’s the most engaging person, Froome’s achievements this year are much bigger though
Joshua is just hard work and mum’s home cooking though
