Was it at the baulk end?

Spotted a new Eurostar train for the first time on Saturday.

Spotted a frog in our back garden, minding its own business.

It wasn’t, no. At the triangle end.

Spotted a new Overground train on the Watford - Euston line for the first time last night.

I went on one for the first time at the weekend (as followers of my excellent twitter account will know).

Probably “hate” is too strong a word. I just never want to touch one.

Verdict?

spotted something pretty cool actually but just checked the diary and it was 13 days ago so just missed out

Swish. Much better than the previous diesel ones.

Not to worry. Just save it for my “Spotted anything in the near-distant past?” thread

I spotted a false widow spider on the shed on, let’s say, Saturday, shall we? It was certainly at the earliest Thursday, so it could realistically have been then, but Saturday is just what I’m going to take this tale forward with. Said false widow, was seeing to a recently trapped green shield bug in the most businesslike fashion. I went back a day or 3 later and noticed the bug had gone. Spider god only knows what had happened to the spider. probably just taking a nap though. I’d like to take a nap, but I’m not going to.

I spotted a snake when I was out running on Sunday. It slithered off and hid in some grass

I’d forgotten they were doing this. Meanwhile, while you enjoy your second set of new trains I’m still regularly travelling on the clunky old 313s.

But what did the snake do?

Hahahahahahahahaha!
