Not a fan of the pink grapefruit or peach?

Always a bit suspicious of grown adults drinking squash but some are nice

not sure i’ve tried them recently. i have the summer fruits one at the minute which is decent but apple and pear is a whole other level.

The Vimto mini squeezy things are a godsend when you wake up hungover and about 50 Celsius in your tent at a festival.

tbh this looks fantastic

Love juice

Of course, Butternut is the best squash, shortly followed by courgette

Some proper wind up merchants in here this morning!

Strawberry Ribena
Elderflower

I never bother but I like lemon and fruit and barley the best

these were dead handy when I was working in various different offices, meant wherever I ended up I could have a nice glass/bottle of squash. well expensive though.

I am a big squash drinker, get through loads at work. big fan of:

  • orange
  • orange and pineapple
  • summer fruits
  • apple and blackcurrent
  • summer fruits
  • lemon

all standard Robinsons no added sugar. used to be a big fan of the barley summer fruits but think I had it too much and now am utterly sick of it.

drank some undiluted the other day by mistake, picked up the wrong bottle, wasn’t great, would not drink again.

That’s just west of Scotland/ Ireland lingo.

Every drink that’s not milk, water or booze is juice.

my mum always bought Robinson’s barley water. So weird - why do you want barley in squash?

I never buy it really - trying to find one with no artificial sweeteners in it is a chore

Hi everyone, haven’t read the thread.

Definitive ranking for Robinsons is:

  • Orange and Mango
  • Orange and Pineapple
  • Grapefruit
  • Apple & Pear
  • Peach
  • Summer Fruits

Your oranges and your apple and blackcurrants are fine but don’t have that “wow” factor. Lemon barley is dreadful unless you are a grandparent. Vimto and Ribena are for children, though the Vimto chewy sweets are an acceptable adult snack.

when i was a kid, my dad came in from doing some work outside (probs pulling down the big hall that was attached to back of the house) and made himself a pint of squash but rather than one flavour, he used a bit of both flavours that were in the kitchen at the time (orange + mango and lemon i think). me and my sisters were in awe - what a genuis! what a maverick! - and asked him what he was doing he said “it’s called jungle juice”. wow. so cool, so brilliant. so for the next year or so we tried every combination possible of different flavours of squash.

thanks for reading.

I have never heard an Irish person refer to any beverage other than a fruit juice as juice. Describing a can of Coke as a “mineral” is common however.

I like elderflower squash cos I’m a massive middle class wanker.

Also, really weak lime squash hits the spot.

it’s nice
