solid choices.

tonight I am going top shelf (for me), it’s not my favourite though.

Think if I had to choose it would be…dunno. really like some of the expensive Bushmills bottles.

Had it about a year ago at my brothers, he’s a freak whiskey fan. Going to tell him to get another bottle of it.

is that the little darkly lit bar next to the Porterhouse at the top of grafton street? Not been in, but I do like the porterhouse stout.

Loving the Irish lads showing up in the evening thread. You guys know you can do this more than one day a year right?

Yep, it’s part of Porterhouse so does the Porterhouse beers.

Which is good because I can’t touch whiskey anymore after overdoing it on Jameson on New Years Eve ~2012 and lying in my friend’s wet garden at 4am being sick

There’s a few different Redbreast variations - the standard bottle is about €60 (in Ireland) and is very very good, but this stuff is a little bit more expensive but a whole new level, dunno if it ships over there…

then they also have the silly 40 year old stuff for triple and quadruple figures that i’ve never tried…

Changed the brakes on my brothers car about a month ago so going to ask him to buy this in compensation. Cheers!

Oh man I think the first thread I ever started on DiS years ago, was on the music boards and it was Irish Drinking Songs I believe.

This song encapsulates all the thoughts around drinking in 5 mins
