I dont know, you get the things aren’t looking good articles, then you get the this is all normal counter articles, then the films come out and they do tend to be a mess. rogue one came out ok I suppose, but feel like its standing is diminishing and it is well on the way to not existing

lots of classic films had notoriously difficult shoots - and lots of terrible ones had smooth shoots with no issues

it indicates nothing

Do you ever feel jealous of English actors cause ultimately they’re just speaking in an English accent on camera? (Question may apply to other places too)

The live-action Mulan has had this nonsense recently too

Rogue One is my favourite of the new Star Wars films, think I might be in a small group with that opinion. It is probably the only one of new ones I have watched more than 3 times.

This is Zorri Bliss.

I think the criticisms of it are valid, but still really enjoy it, 7/10

No it isn’t but the tweet that it has used as a source appears to be where the thousands of “uhoh sw9 iz in troublze” videos have come from.

It’s very complicated to make late changes to a film getting a theatrical run like this. You need to get it finished, graded, dubbed, translated for subtitles, every separate element needs to be cleared through legal and certified, and each new element has to go through QC passes at various levels as well.
They’ll have known the required lock date for this to get it through right when they first decided the release date. Any potential reshoots will have been booked with crew and actors, as well as any of the post-houses doing work on the film, years ago.
Nothing happening now will be a surprise.

Was justice league like that?

JL ones seemed pretty haphazard and unplanned, eg all the stuff with the CGI moustache removal.

There were further issues there though as the studio was unwilling to push the date back.

So I guess it’s whether it was unplanned is the crucial factor that we don’t know

They paid an awful lot of money to get everything through on that film and still hit the original release date.
The reshoots there are slightly unusual in that they were so desperate Warners tried to pay Paramount to delay production on whatever MI film it was, then threw a ton of money at the CGI on Supermans lip when Paramount refused. They book reshoots in advance to avoid that normally.
But the lock date won’t have changed, they just threw more money at the problem. If Disney were paying that much extra money, causing more crunch at post-houses, and delaying other productions, I expect much clearer word would get out.
