I’m going to have to learn how to pirate things in 2019 for The Mandalorian, aren’t I. Wouldn’t even know where to start these days. Going to get so many viruses.

Limewire is still a thing, yeah? Probably start there.

The later series of the Ewoks cartoon went a bit weird.

Do love

Please note: Titles may vary by territory.

This is the UK so I’m guessing none of the titles people actually want to see will be available

How did we get to a place where the first ever live-action Star Wars television show is region exclusive for four and a half months, no one is going to just wait for that lol

I mean I am gonna wait cos I CBA that much anymore, but it’s a weird move

oh wait someone is going to get on to me about Ewoks or something, they don’t exist sorry

Disney probably daft enough to think they get away with having big release gaps for their animated films so they’ll get away with it here, even though it’s a completely different scenario

Guaranteed to be the most pirated show ever?

Maybe. Got a fair way to go though.

AT&T TV just struck a deal with Disney, I already have ESPN+ and the rumour is that it’ll end up being bundled with Disney+, hopefully I won’t have to pay extra. I’m pretty excited for the other content, I’ve got a son about the right age for some wholesome animated content

Kinda wild if they do end up with a months long wait before showing it in Europe.

I actually imagine they reckon everyone in the UK is going to buy their service regardless because of all it has so while they will probably expect heaps of piracy of the Mandalorian they’ll bank on it giving them guaranteed subscriptions come 1st April.

Plus series two will be out this time next year so that’ll be another carrot to dangle.

It’s just frustrating - the main reason (I understand it) for the delay is because Disney’s contract with Sky doesn’t end until early next year. Now, come on, give us Disney+ with new content NOW because I sure as hell don’t mind waiting 6 months for the likes of Phantom Menace and Empire Strikes Back to be populated back into the UK Disney+ stable…

I’d imagine the contract is a lot tougher than that, or else the cost associated with running the service with purely brand new streaming and nothing else isn’t worth it.

Yeah, I’m sure I’m being a little glib - but still, it’s just frustrating. I’d rather watch the Mandalorian properly then have it spoiled the first time I go online after it debuts.

Do we think they’ll release it on DVD / Blu Ray?
