I enjoyed it and was genuinely excited to see a clip but I seem to be in the minority based on the replies. Maybe that’s because I’m just looking forward to seeing it… I seem to recall other vehicles on wheels in previous episodes ho hum

You should always assume the main people replying to these tweets will be the whinging fan contingent

Looks good to me

I spent good money on seeing Episode I in 3D to ensure that we saw IV V VI in 3D. Alone. Fucking hell.

Seem to recall an xkcd referencing that:

I tell you what guys… tempted!

Ffs. I take the worst photos. It was $30!

I can’t understand the backlash over ‘a vehicle with treads’!!! There are plenty of vehicles that run on the ground throughout Star Wars. I’ve seen a few people online just trying to shit-can a movie they haven’t seen with spurious reasons like that.

I’m hugely pro-tread, quite blatantly the coolest way of getting around.

What’s the big deal? Have there been no wheels in wars before?

If you think about it, the Death Star was the ultimate wheel.

People saying why use vehicles with treads when anti-grav and repulse technology have been available for years.

It’s a fair point if you want to have a nerd chat about the minutiae of SW, but most people are using it as an excuse the rubbish Abrams, Kennedy, Johnson (!), Disney blah blah.

JJ has confirmed the official run-time is 2h 21m - making it the third longest movie across the nine film saga.

So I guess III is in first, because it felt like it lasted several human lifespans, what else is ahead of it?

I know The Last Jedi is the longest, followed by Attack of the Clones! I just looked it up and this new one beats Sith by 60 whole seconds.

I think technically BB8 is a wheel.

Looks a bit like Shatner’s Bassoon having an attack of the Trudeau’s.
