Pleasure - one of the ā€˜non-story reasonsā€™ Luke had a green blade in ROTJ was because the blue one failed to show up significantly against the sky background during the skiff battle :slight_smile:

think even the YouTuber admits that part sound far fetched, but there is probably some truth in the rest of it, remember a large proportion of leaks around TROS turned out to be completely accurate

Iā€™m digging your posts about bonding with your daughter over the films.

My two and half year old understands SW is a big thing for me and asks to watch ā€œDarth Vader oneā€ from time-to-time (meaning any of the original trilogy).

My heart did warm last night when, apropos of nothing other then watching a bit of TESB at Christmas, he came up to me and said: ā€œHan Solo is frozen. Poor Han Solo.ā€ :smiley:

Ah right - well, it all happened pretty fast.

Sheā€™s just dealt with nearly being run over by her arch nemesis, before her best friend is yelling at her that another friend is ā€˜on that transportā€™. She just instinctively acts to drag the ship down, while knowing her arch nemesis is now approaching her on foot and whom then joins in for a battle of strength.

I mean, thatā€™s hardly a situation made for a quiet feel out with the Force. Finn is telling her Chewie is on that transport, so she trusts that information.

As far as I can tell, it is those particular fans trying to portray that scene as a big middle finger to RJ by JJ, when actually it is very in-keeping with the Luke from TLJ.

Just got to the bit where George "perfected his vision " with the special editions , which features a few side by side comparisons of the og Vs the SEs , plus Iā€™ve been watching a doc which up till now has heavily featured the original special FX and how they were made

My god, the SEs look sooooooo bad now, that dated CGI is so jarring. :grimacing:
