So Rose is finally in a trailer and… it’s one shot, and all the shots of the-gang don’t include her. Hmm.

I’m quite concerned they’ll send her off on a mission at the start of the film and you won’t see her till the end. Basically that they’ll limit her screentime as much as possible.

I think this too - she will be either ‘at base’ and involved in helping the plot move along, then be ‘helping to prepare things’ off-screen a lot.

I don’t think it’s a reaction to appease the section of the fanbase which maligned the character and harassed the Tran, but the film has to focus on Rey/Kylo while tying up the saga as a whole, so perhaps giving Rose a ‘full part’ was probably not high on the agenda?

Please give Rose at least something significant to do in the story, even if it’s not a lot of screen time. Sorta like a Lando in RotJ role. She’s done enough Having A Word with Finn and deserves a win of her own.

I want a good few fights, both with lightsabers and in the space fighters, possibly the surprise return of darth vader or palpatine, comedy restricted to ONE character, light on the bullshit romance stuff, decent variety of planets (woodland, snow planet, and sea/magma planet would be good) and some good training montages.
