I had a blast with the Dylan one and feel at a loose end for my listening at the moment, so after nearly 20 positive votes in the Bowie thread - here we go!
Haven’t quite decided when we launch but will update the title accordingly to give everyone a heads up

planning to bump Toy up the queue also so we listen to it when the tracks were recorded around 2000 (if not released) and keep Blackstar as the grand finale

Will dip in for the albums I already like and maybe a couple I’m curious about, not sure if I can be bothered listening to all of them though.

There’s a good chance this will get you a telephone interview on 6Music, @JaguarPirate
I love all the Bowie I know, and there’s some I don’t know

i’ve definitely heard fewer than 10 of these, possibly as low as 6. So once again, fun discovery journey ahead
never been a huge fan but still gonna be fun, and since my flatmate is also doing this at the same time i couldnt be outshone

You and your flatmate should date, no offence

Could be the first listening club to start with two eponymous albums?

I’ve heard all of these but maybe I’ll hear them again

I think I’ve heard 8. Will this lead to me hearing more than 8? Who knows!
Reckon a Bowie listenalong would be interesting going backwards chronologically.

Just listened to The Next Day and was pleasantly surprised, so looking forward to this!
I will find this hard as a total Bowie apologist. I even like the stuff widely regarded as shit, so all I will read is posters shitting on stuff I have great fondness for. That will be tough to take.
Although I cannot wait to hear people’s take on “Please Mr. Gravegigger”

I’m not sure if I can commit to this but be sure to choose the 2019 mix of self titled number 2 (Space Oddity) otherwise you’ll miss out on this gem (and possibly my favourite Bowie track).

We’ll get it in the aforementioned Toy. And yes, it’s incredible
The Toy version is a different beast.
