I’m not familiar enough with the names of their tracks to tell you. Definitely played Vegetarian Hunting… and I think we’re playing Requiem for Dying Mothers when we arrived

Aye, think it’s been New Song / Mothers 1&2, Fuckface and then one I can’t remember the name of

fuckface live is just sonic bliss

After ‘…Fuckface’ they played ‘Mulholland’ i think? Or was it ‘Anchor States Part 1’?

Aye, mulholland that’s it. Disappointing but haven’t seen them for ages so still very exciting

Well that was pretty special! It came together beautifully when the animations were used to compliment the lighting, and the swirling/vortex effect was really effective. Great stuff.

Our second baby is due on the 11th, do I risk getting a ticket for the Brighton gig on the 10th!?!

Only if you give your child the name Fuckface if it eventually does get born on the 11th.

First kids already called Fucky McFuckface.

They played I Will Surround You as well, which was a nice surprise. Yeah, the lighting / visuals were pretty spectacular.

Was right at the front, didn’t even notice the visuals

Seeing them in Bristol tonight. Venue claims “this is a standing show”, the jokers. Have they even heard SotL?

Some good smoke machine banter

Does anyone need a spare ticket for Manchester? If so:

Nottingham was very good. First gig I’ve been to in 7 years.

Nottingham was excellent.I liked that they finished with Music for Twin Peaks Episode #30, Part I.

Aye nottingham gig was beautiful. Really needed a piss at 22:30 so didn’t go back in as I didn’t think I’d get back into it. Was lovely bar getting kicked in the back of the head when I was laying down and the guy behind me (who was also laying down) jumped when some money fell out his pocket.

Special band.

The sheer indignation of Wiltzie telling us all to stand up, too. Didn’t he realise some of the lads are deep into middle-age? As my mother-in-law said at the weekend, sitting down is fine, it’s the getting up that’s the problem.

What was the track with the never-ending crescendo before the encore? Fantastic. Requiem for Dying Mothers was also great, as I’d hoped.

Set list for Nottingham

Requiem for Dying Mothers, Part 1

Requiem for Dying Mothers, Part 2

I Will Surround You

December Hunting for Vegetarian Fuckface

Mullholland

Generous Abandon

Music for Twin Peaks Episode #30, Part I

Thank-you!

Wasn’t there one before Requiem? The string quartet played on their own for a good few minutes.
