There seems to be tickets for just about every UK venue available except Glasgow. It just says Tickets not available as if they never were, rather than being sold out? Weird.

None for Brighton either

I think presale must have been a smallish percentage of not-massive venues and they just went very fast for those cities

I saw Madder Rose 3 times in the early / mid 90’s. The Bristol Bierkeller gig a particular highlight. What a voice!

Me again. I saw Stereolab a few times. Once again, Bristol Bierkeller being a standout (they had Sonic Boom in tow to add to the sonic revelry). Tortoise supported! Bloody amazing. They also did a co-headliner at Trinity in Bristol with Spiritulaized which was rather super.

Pretty sure i have some Velocity Girl records. But I can’t remember any more than that.

I saw them on that your with Sonic Boom & Tortoise but in Manchester. Even got them to sign the tour single for some reason.

I put both of those bands in the ‘loved in the 90s but not so much now’ file

It’s in Finnieston, part of the SWG3 complex which has a few different sized venues under one roof. The Galvanisers Yard is the outdoor part. Saw LCD there last summer and it was great. Decent beer selection and the food on offer was amazing.

Obviously last summer was a freak occurrence so you might get rained on. Glasgow innit.

I saw Stereolab with YLT supporting in 1995; Also saw them in France later that year (Uni year abroad). I saw them with Tortoise later on as well. I’m sure I saw them on the Renfrew Ferry in Glasgow in the 90s too.

SBE tickets procured this morning thank goodness.

Crikey! My first YLT experience was seeing them support Screaming Trees at The Underworld in 93. Completely blew me away.

Ah shit. Was going for Brighton too and tried at 10.06 (chuffing work getting in the way) but no tickets available :persevere:

Ticket booked for Brighton. I’m going to spend today on a Stereolab binge.

London booked, Level 1 had already sold out on See so had to go for Ticketbastard

Brighton booked, hurrah

Glasgow ticket secured. Result! Lets just hope weather is good now.

Ditto re Brighton! Excited!

Glasgow ticket ahoy! Cannae wait

I think it’s the indoor bit of the Galvanizers? Saw Soulwax there and it was great.

Ah that’ll be dead good. Also saw Jon Hopkins there and thought it was great. Quite fond of SWG3 as a venue.
