discovered the joys of sliced brussels fried with garlic, ginger, cumin, onion and mustard seeds with a splash of lemon juice at Christmas. Probably never going to cook them another way again

Do Mongolian BBQ restaurants still exist? I handed over my selection of raw ingredients to the chef for stir-frying and it always tasted the same (average). Never could unlock that magic combination of vegetables and meat.
