Yeah that’s what I assumed, it took ages to find even this one, apparently searching “Stranger Things” and filtering it to the TV category isn’t enough to bring up a thread titled “Stranger Things” that is under the TV category.
I normally have to filter on title too for that sort of thing. The search system is massively weighted toward individual posts I think
the search engine thinks it’s called Stranger Than Things
And it’s not wrong
27,000th in the presale queue. Yay.
what you queueing for
Did you get tickets? I’m booked for the 6th December.
Yeah front row upper… A secret Wedding Anniversary gift for the TV in December!
Good on them
I mean Paul Reiser was stretching their credibility on that whole
Matt Duffer explained that the existence of “Beetlejuice” is “the threshold we can’t cross,” because “once Winona is a superstar in the world, the show has to stop.”
But Linda Hamilton bursts it completely.
Obviously very very up for her to be in this.
Saw some bad reviews floating around by users on reddit so this is exciting! Definitely going to catch it next year
Had a look at tickets earlier- saw the prices, not going.
From an email I got yesterday:
“10,000 ADDITIONAL TICKETS JUST RELEASED AT £30 AND £50 ACROSS 2024”
I got front row centre Grand Circle for £40 when the first went on sale a year ago which is amazing value.
Season 5 trailer…
November - volume 1, Christmas - volume 2, NYE - volume 3. Way to spread it out Netflix
Amazing fact: Millie Bobbie Brown is now the same age Winona Ryder was in the first episode.
It’s a fantastic release technique, to be fair. It will totally monopolise online conversation/IRL chat around Christmas party season, give people something to watch in that dead week between Christmas and NYE, and then a huge finale to huddle down for when everyone’s hungover on the 1st.
If they don’t cannibalise it with something else over winter, it’ll be the biggest streaming series they’ve ever had I imagine.
And gets casual subscribers signed up for more than one month I guess…
