It’s also not as good as ASOIAF.

Erm, overwrought prose, extremely unlikeable male wish fulfillment protagonist who’s CLEVER and IRRESISTIBLE and TOUGH and A WAR HERO and fuck off, a stupid gimmick about said protagonist violently hating coffee that just does nothing for the narrative, and a lazy flashback plot device thing that’s really trite but also makes the whole thing feel meandering and unfocused.

Can’t think of a single thing to recommend about it.

I actually did give up on it about 4 episodes in, but an otherwise good cast and the constant "Nah man it gets better!"made me go back. Barring utter fucking trash heap shows and shows I should’ve quite much earlier on (i.e. Dexter’s final season), it’s probably one of the worst viewing experiences I’ve ever had. I hate every single bit of it.

Auditing. Did it for over 4 years, don’t think there was a single day that I genuinely enjoyed my job. Paid well and I got to do a load of stuff I wouldn’t have otherwise done with the money but the actual job was so tedious.

yeah heap o’ shit. Nice to look at but didn’t dig deep enough, main guy was fucking annoying too. bloke who played Pablo Escobar is obviously brilliant and was probably the reason we stuck with it for as long as we did.
We’d been watching out of routine then after the 2nd or so ep of the 2nd series we just looked at each other like ‘this is a bit shit really isn’t it’ and it was quite a relief
