Went to Subway for lunch, purely on the basis of this thread, and purely to eat BBQ beef burnt ends. They had RUN OUT. I quite suspect that I gawped like a fish when they told me. Never been so disappointed with a BMT (was still good really, obvs).

I’ve been experimenting this week. Tried a double beef ends salad but made the schoolboy error of having the meat cold. Tried a sauceless sanger earlier, not as good. Keep fighting the good fight, lads.

an incredibly creepy person once told me that to rip off subway you get two cheese toasties, get all the salad on it and then put them together and BANG a sub for only like £2. I don’t understand why he did this because it only cost £1 extra (and believe me he wasn’t in poverty or anything)
