Got some picnic weather forecast, so we’re going for a picnic in a bit.

Never been, but I like that the road signs for it look a bit like someone has drawn a willy on them.

Morning troops. Going veggie/vegan rolls on, with last night’s Heck Burgers. I know, Brexit bastards, but I made my peace with it in the same way I buy the Union Adoring Mackies crisps in that the taste outweighs the hypocrisy.

Today, going to deliver eggs and muffins to my partner in bed shortly and then it’s into the garden to strimmer the shit that the mower missed. Then, after that, edlest has a birthday party so I’ll be taking the little one to The Big Park and having a blast there.

Wrong potato / oil ratio maybe? Or too many potatoes added at the same time which drops the temperature of the oil?

Morning! Working up in the great country of Canada. Will finish today at which point i get to take a stretch of the Trans Canada Highway home where ill be bumping, you guessed it, Trans Canada Highway by Boards of Canada.

8 hour drive home though :weary:

Hello. Bit hungover. Gonna make some brekkie, might wander into town later and buy some records (one also brekkie related), haven’t done that in a long time. Meeting a pal in the afternoon for a pint and a toastie and a sit by the canal, hope it’s not too busy.

Thunder & lightning promised all day today

I was hoping it would be a spectacular mediterranean storm but it’s just a bit slow and weak

getting bored of being here on my own now, wanna get back to Stockholm and enjoy some Swedish summer (ht @stupidsexyflanders) and neverending light at night

It was a mix of different potatoes we had to use up and they were a bit old, I think some were just a better variety for frying.

It was delicious, in the end :blush:

Did you let them dry a bit before refrying them in a different pan? I’d probably lay them out on kitchen roll and stick some on top to absorb some of the moisture.
