Oval Invincibles
Who needs them anyway

For the first time ever, I think people might like cricket, and all it took was making cricket metric. Who’d have thought?

Why don’t they get fortnite sponsorship and move the boundaries in every 25 balls

That’ll be the ipl next year

… but can the do it on a cold, rainy Tuesday night against the Trent Rockets?

There’s no Bristol team is there?

In Cricket or…?

Minutely onomatopoeic too!

in The Hundred

Nope. I was annoyed about that because I went to watch Glos play T20 quite a lot, and the nearest option for the Hundred is Cardiff. Tbf, the walk up to Sophia Gardens is one of the biggest treats in domestic cricket, but it’s still bit of a schlep out there and back.

I liked it when van Niekerk said in her interview she had to convert everything to overs in her head which is exactly what I was doing

Thank you. I’ve been trying to work that out ever since the test vs India

Kinda strange, cos i was still working out run rate per over.

Think the maybe need some kinda or runs per ball or maybe per 10 would be easiest.

one of the teams is called “The Manchester Originals”

Despite them being formed at exactly the same time as all the other teams.

Manchester just getting under the skin of everyone as always.

Jealousy is not your colour

Still cant believe @avery thought you could bowl 2 overs in row.

Obviously, never played Cricket Captain

Don’t even know where I got that Idea, must have been listening to some pre-1889 TMS at some point.

There’s a massive graphic on the screen counting down the runs needed from the balls available.

As it’s 10 balls an end in a set, its a pretty straight forward bit of maths.

It might be straightforward maths, but do cricket fans necessarily want straightforward maths? I’ve always enjoyed trying to mentally calculate the rrr to 2dp throughout the innings.
