Think it’s 8 in the Warwickshire v Glamorgan game as well. Good knock on debut from Benjamin, although he is off to the hundred now as a replacement for Hose. Quite the week for him as only made his T20 debut last week as well.

the idea that they had to change the format to attract fans seems kind of like bollocks. there are a lot of complicated things about cricket, the fact there are six balls in an over isn’t really one of them.

pretty sure they had to change the format because the money men decided they were going to create a franchise/city team format and sky would have kicked off if they tried to do it as t20 after they already bought the blast rights. they just changed it enough to not get in any trouble.

also hameed scoring a century against the indians there :eyes:

Close game in the end, took it to the final over. Jacob Bethell got 4-36 with his left arm spin on debut at 17, his 2 wickets in 2 balls really gave Warwickshire a shot.

Hopefully the weather holds at the weekend for the games on Sunday. Warwick will have a few more options with players returning from County Select XI
