They issued a full refund as there was less than 100 balls bowled in the men’s game, despite getting virtually a full game in for the women

Not wildly keen on seeing Overton tbh so I hope they pick Mahmood even though they’ve only just brought him in. Would be a bit of a smack in the chops for Overton though. Also have my doubts about whether they would drop Sibley, but if Pope comes in it’s between him and Bairstow, and they love Bairstow.

I also prefer Bairstow

Bairstow is a funny one, had a good record in the past but hasn’t done anything to warrant being in red ball team over recent years

He’s now a must it seems. I don’t blame selectors for having him in but says more about our others bats than his recent record.

This side is getting more and more England in the 90’s as the summer go’s on
