No point, no point!

Tremendous shithousing from the third umpire there.

India somehow sun Dom Bess into their lineup

King Pair

Oh that was the wrong time to put the kettle on.

For such an outstanding cricketer, Kohli really does act like a total walloper at times.

Some proper needle out there

We were doing it to them earlier tbf

I see your point - it’s more that Curran’s a tailender while Kohli the number four and captain. One of those things wickets is more worthy of celebration than the other, I’d argue.

Shouldn’t Joe Root be on the balcony waving at the sky / umpires round about now?

We were doing it to Bumrah :grinning::grinning:

Completely lost our heads getting in his face and forgot to try and get him out for an hour

Absolutely. Lost it this morning when we decided willy-waving was more important than bowling at the stumps.

Ah, I see. I’ve been out all day so only had the Cricinfo report of Curran’s wicket to go on. It was raining for an hour this afternoon while I was out in deepest Hertfordshire - looks like it would have better for all of us if had fallen in NW8.

Brilliant by india to be fair

Only four ducks in the innings? Pfft.

Just imagine how much more embarrassing it would have been if they’d bowled India out for 220.

The over that Bumrah got Robinson out in was great stuff.

Would have been a different game. That hour and half before lunch completely fucked it.

In theory yes. In practice… it’s not really like England were ever in control of their second innings is it?

[Although I’ll give you that the margin meant India could be more attacking.]

There’s almost something to admire in us taking our over night position and managing to lose so comprehensively.

Can England collapse? They always collapse
