How old are your choir? Kiddies or real people?

Do you need to worry about arrangements or is it just a case of making people sing?

I have never been in a choir or directed people singing in one.

I coached a sixth-form football team for a game because my mate had parents evening (we won 4-3 after some inspired substitutions) bu the students did most of work. I just swore at them accidentally at half time and made sure they got on the bus home.

Kids Keith kids.

So far I’ve done some googling and we’re going lots of super warm ups then Oranges and Lemons. If they’re good we may progress to also using chime bells. Think that’ll be it for this week.

Also leading a circuit training club on Thursdays having never done a circuit / been to a gym in my life so look forward to my questioning for advice Wednesday night

Had to stifle a laugh at the cafe earlier. One of the kitchen staff was clearing tables and talking to a guy who’s presumably a regular customer:

“Where do you work, mate?”
“The steelworks”
“Oh, right. What do you make there?”
“Steel”

So far today we’ve managed to go home, shower and collapse on the sofa. I think i turned the tv on an hour or so back, not managed to make it do the moving pictures yet, though.

Woke up late, skipped the gym, managed to get stuck into some cleaning which has made me feel pretty accomplished. Bit more of that, trying on and returning some clothes for the new job, then off to my mate’s for a Basque beer event and either Veronica Mars or some Mission Impossible action :ok_hand:
