Hi friends,
Winnie is whistling. I love her so much
Might go a Virgin Mary with my watching of Sunday Brunch.
Coco pops for breakfast.
Need to go and get something for lunch/dinner/whatever. Was going to be a leg o lamb at my parents but dad has got covid, so thatโs that.
Everyone else in the house made too much breakfast before I got up so Iโm just hoovering the leftovers:
Wor Lass doesnโt put butter on toast if sheโs having another spread so theyโre all a bit dry to me.
Not sure but cheesy leeks will be involved
Snap. We spent most of yesterday doing hard labour in the garden so roast was the reward.
Today will be breakfast/lunch in a local caff and dinner will be lovely reheated leftovers
Having toast. Just prepped two jacky ps for the lunchingtonw
Three Scottish berry preserve on sourdough for breakfast
2 cups of decaf coffee
1 cup of caffeinated English breakfast tea
I had lunch out yesterday before the theatre, I went to polpo and this is what was had
Four crostini: Olive tapenade, chicken liver and sage pate, fig salami and Gorgonzola, and grape goats curd and pine nut. All very tasty, highlight of the meal experience
Nduja arancini. Can arancini ever go wrong?
Octopus pasta dish I forget the name of. Sweet tomatoey and very fishy octopus, good combo. Nice but not amazing.
Mortadella, pistachio, straciatella pizzette. Bigger than I expected! Tasty, very rich, great dough.
Actually no itโs a great idea
Had a tin of soup for lunch (Scotch broth).
Going to do a toad in the hole for tea, with mash and peas and, perhaps weirdly, some cheesy leeks because @jordan_229 has planted the seed in my head.
Morrisons are pushing these hard at the moment but theyโre (unsurprisingly) not very good. Theyโre very crunchy though.
Morrisons traditional pastie served with Colemanโs mustard (unpictured) for a lunch that spans across Southern England.
Some dried mango.
Chocolate teacake.
Gws to your dad and I hope you come up with a delicious alternative
I love waking up on a Sunday to an already thriving SD thread
And thatโs dinner decided. Mushroom and leek risotto!!
