Going to go and buy a coffee and a chocolate and almond croissant. The rest of the day is going to find it tough to compete with that moment. Here’s hoping though. Good morning all!

This isn’t a picture of my food, but:

I just heard mention of an Olympic Breakfast in another thread and now I have a hankering for those little circular chips that you get with them.

Missus wants to go to an all you can eat breakfast place. Don’t fancy it myself but as I’m a consummate gentleman we’re gonna go.

Please tell me more

Fried potatoes ?

Anyone got any recommendations for a really really nice breakfast in Bristol ?

Yeah I think that’s their name. Apparently they’re called Cottage Fries in the states

Porridge with some homemade (not by me) blackberry jam for brekko.

Lunch is a tbc

Going out this evening. So something off this menu

Usually go calamari or whitebait to start and then linguine alla marinara. Might have something different today though. Maybe. Or probably not.

Just had a bowl of shreddies (didnt have quite enough milk so drier than i would usually have them)

Got some squeaky bean pastrami and really expensive rye bread and whole grain mustard so gonna have for lunch.

Some kind of Aloo Gobi curry for tea maybe chuck in some kale and squash to get through the veg box

Asda substituted fake mince for fake meatballs.

Was planning on having spaghetti Bolognese or chilli using said mince so do I:

  • Have spag bol but use meatballs diced up a bit because we have all the stuff
  • Have meatballs and rice and tenderstem but get extras from the shop e.g harissa paste

Big fan of the squeaky bean range.

Meatballs pasta but not diced up imo

Really want pasta alla norma but my darling partner is a small minded aubergine hater

Obviously burnt my hand on the pan handle having taken it out of the oven, but this was good…
