I subbed in some extra veg (small chunks of pepper and green beans), couldn’t get the nigella seeds/ Indian Five Spice and cooked it in the oven to get the rice a bit crispy.

got it with a meal we ordered from a bar/restaurant in glasgow last night. had a bit left over so slathered it on our toast this morn

Gousto still not here and the bairn needed fed ages ago so a bumper feed from kfc was procured. I regret nothing.

My curry came out crap :cry: just a bit bland!

I’m loosing interest in cooking tbh. I used to live for it but now it’s such a chore and my only source of happiness sometimes that when it doesn’t come out fucking amazing, I get the right hump!!!

I had a patch like that over the summer - it’s definitely not as much fun cooking tasty food when you haven’t really got the option of sacking it off and eating out.

Exactly! For me it’s having to think of lunch as well that’s killing it for me. I now have to think of 3 meals a day when some days I wouldn’t even think of one so having to cook only like 4 TIMES a week to then doing lunches and dinners making it like 14 times I need to make food a week is just making it all so booorrrrrrring.

Do a couple of weeks of greatest hits to take you to Xmas and then aim to do exciting things in the new year with your menus.

My lunch is often toast, leftovers or walking to Greggs for a pasty so I never aspire to interesting meals aside from in the evening.
