Tell that to the good folks at Dalston’s own Base Pizza! (I too would have denied his request on the spot but I suppose that’s just not good business)
Maaaaaate, those roasties look BANGING. 10/10 would smash that plate.
Green beans are the worst vegetable (would still eat).
They’re a necessary evil, but an evil nonetheless.
I’m not a big beetroot fan but the colours are so beautiful. What’s the white stuff? Swede? Turnip? Celeriac?
Green beans are brilliant.
Garlic & chilli chicken with homemade rosemary & garlic chips and asparagus. Got a fucking brilliant white wine with it too.
Lol they sent him the four cheese #merked
Don’t like the normal red beetroots much but the other colours are a different story for me!
White stuff is yummy celeriac, one if the hands down best root veggies
Are they in the pocket of Big Gnome?
Had some boerwors at the BBQ and that was about it.
Drove home via Morrisons and had a chicken and bacon sandwich and a falafel wrap between me and Wor Lass. I’ve had better Sunday meals but I’ve also had far worse.
Cheers G - I’m not gonna lie, they were great. Proper crispy on the outside and velvety in the middle.
It’s a cracking recipe, Slater’s a definite GBOL
Used to be a time (10yrs ago, or more) where you save upward of £16.
They’re good man. Just need to make sure they don’t get overcooked.
My daughter calls them bamboo and likes to ‘feed’ them to her toy panda though. If we’re not careful we find them secreted all around the house.
What kind of a crappy bbq did you go to that you had to buy bloody supermarket bloomjn sandwiches on the way home?! I’m appalled and saddened for you.
got a spinach paneer from the local. absolute
I’ve never cooked with celeriac! Don’t think we had it at home growing up but my mum made some celeriac mash for us once, according to Avery. I just asked him if it was nice and we liked it and he said “Umm. We haven’t had it since”
Guess.
We were told not to bring anything because they had loads in from yesterday (this was BBQ day 2) but there was not much left.
Yet another example of my In Laws creating a sales pitch that is more optimism than realism.
