I had chicken and soup.
I’ve just had a Huel.
Lunch was a quorn burger.
Got some chicken marinading in harissa, lemon, garlic and chilli.
Gonna have that with veg skewers, pitta, garlicky yoghurt and some aubergine/feta thing.
Sounds bloody delicious!
So annoying that if I was to ring my order through and walk up to the Chinese (the much quicker option) it’s cash only, while at the same time I can order from them on Just Eat (and use my card).
I’m sure it won’t be long before chippies and Chinese takeaways are the only places left that won’t accept card payment.
Oh, by the way:
Crispy shredded chilli beef
Roast duck with plum sauce
Chicken chow mein
Salt and chilli pepper chips.
This is a 10/10 order.
Free prawn crackers as well, to sit around on the kitchen counter for a couple of days before going in the bin…
We were gonna make potato gratin to have with salmon cos we’ve got some cream that needs using but it’s now twenty to seven and I’m still tucked up on the sofa so we’re going to make an easy, comforting dinner of chips, beans and cheese and onion lattice things.
What’s this then? Going to make the saag tomorrow?
Yes, I think I will. Tonight it’s a char siu curry. Didn’t make it myself (obv)
No photos because I inhaled it straight into my guts. Barely touched the sides tbh. Enjoyed it though.
